Police release pic of man after vicious attack in VIP area of Edinburgh nightclub

Images had been launched of a person after a vicious assault broke out in an Edinburgh nightclub.

A 999 reaction scrambled to the VIP space of Atik in West Tollcross at 1.50am on Saturday, February 12 amid studies of a rammy.

Medics attended and handled the sufferer for a significant harm.

Officers have launched an image of a person who they imagine could possibly help them with their ongoing investigation.

He is described as being white, elderly between 18 and 24, round 5ft 11in tall and with dark-coloured hair this is brushed ahead.

At the time of the incident, he was once dressed in a pink jumper, denims and dark-coloured running shoes.

Detective Sergeant Gary Smyth of Gayfield CID mentioned: “I would urge the male, or anyone who has information relating to this male, depicted in this image to make contact with the Police.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact police at Gayfield CID, Edinburgh via 101 quoting reference number 2134 of 18 February 2022.

“Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed on anonymously.”
