Local groups donate 155 pairs of new shoes for Kicks for the Kids


Chartwells K12, alongside the Duval County Public Schools’ nutritional program, donated 155 pairs of new shoes for Kicks for the Kids on Tuesday.

Chartwells dropped the shoes off at Channel 4. Chartwells is the food service provider for DCPS, serving meals at over 150 schools during the school year.

William Ratley, Vice President of Operations at Duval County Public Schools, told News4JAX the local groups collected the shoes in a few days and wanted to encourage other businesses to also help.  

Do you still want to donate? News4JAX is collecting shoes for kids ages kindergarten to 12th grade until Thursday.
