Josh Taylor vacates WBA super-lightweight title after rejecting Alberto Puello defence


osh Taylor claims he made the verdict to vacate his WBA super-lightweight identify.

The WBA has ordered Taylor to make a compulsory defence of his identify towards Dominican fighter Alberto Puello, unbeaten in 20 fights.

The Scot, who remaining defended the identify he received from Regais Progais in 2019 in a massively debatable issues win over Jack Catterall in February, nonetheless holds the IBF, WBO and WBC belts.
