How cost of diesel fuel is affecting local truck drivers, businesses

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As gas costs proceed to upward thrust, individuals who must fill their automobiles up with diesel are having to take much more cash out in their wallets.

Some truck drivers say their jobs aren’t even winning anymore.

A Circle Ok in Camden County is seeing extra consumers than standard, as a result of their gasoline costs are the most cost effective for miles. Diesel gasoline is $5.13 on the Circle Ok in Camden County.

In Jacksonville, the costs are as regards to $6 a gallon for diesel.

“I just paid $475 — $475 would’ve gotten me through three fuelings. Now it’s only one,” stated George, a truck motive force.
