CAT, THIS IS THE TIME TO HELP THEM OUT. MEREDITH: 6:17 ON YOUR FRIDAY MORNING. WE WANT TO TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER KELLIANNE. ANOTHER WARM START THE DAY. KELLIANNE: EXACTLY RIGHT. WE ARE GOING TO BE HOT THIS AFTERNOON AND WHAT FOR SHOWERS TODAY. IN VOLUSIA COUNTY OR SOAKING IN THE LAST COUPLE DAYS OF SUMMER, LOOKING PRETTY NICE. THIS IS A LOOK AT OUR TOWER CAM IN BREVARD COUNTY. NOT EXPECTING AN LOT OF RAINFALL THIS MORNING. MOST ACTIVITY IS IN THE GULF OF MEXICO AND EXPECTED TO STAY OUT OF CENTRAL FLORIDA. THIS MORNING IS DRY AND WE ARE ON THE MILD SIDE ESPECIALLY IN THE PALM COAST AT 73 DEGREES. 77 IN LEESBURG AND ORLANDO. 78 IN CLERMONT. DROPPING THE KIDS AT THE BUS STOP THIS MORNING. RAIN FREE CONDITIONS AND WE WILL WATCH FOR SHOWERS TO DEVELOP AS TEMPERATURES QUICKLY RACE IN THE LOW TO MID 90’S. I THINK WE HEAD AROUND 94 DEGREES IN ORLANDO, 93 IN CLERMONT AND OCALA AND LOW 90’S ACROSS ALL BEACH LOCATIONS. THAT’S WILL ALL BE FROM THE SEA BREEZE THAT FIRES UP AROUND LUNCHTIME. THAT WILL SHOW A FEW ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THEN SCATTERED RAIN DEVELOPS ACROSS THE AREA AROUND 3:30 OR 4:00. TODAY’S COVERT IS VERY LIMITED AT 40% — COVERAGE IS VERY LIMITED AT 40%. NOT EVERYONE WILL SEE RAINFALL. 7:30-8:00, WE WILL STILL SEE LINGERING THUNDERSTORMS IN OUR FORECAST. AROUND 12:30 TONIGHT, THE RAIN CLEARS OUT OF THE WAY AND WE ARE LEFT WITH DRY CONDITIONS. TEMPERATURES GET TO THE MID-90’S AROUND 3:00 WHERE WE ALSO SEE A 30% CHANCE OF STORMS. TOMORROW MORNING WE WAKE UP TO TEMPERATURES IN THE 70’S. TOMORROW AFTERNOON, WE START TO SEE CHANGES IN OUR FORECAST. FROM BEGINS TO MOVE THROUGH CENTRAL FLORIDA. THIS WILL INCREASE OUR RAINFALL TOMORROW THROUGH ABOUT 50%. IT STALLS OVER CENTRAL FLORIDA ON SUNDAY KEEPING ARRANGEMENTS IS ELEVATED. WE DO HAVE RAIN IN OUR FORECAST. IT IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE A WASHOUT THOUGH. 92 DEGREES IS THE HIGH ON SATURDAY, DOWN TO 91 ON SUNDAY. It’s shaping up to be another hot day across Central Florida with afternoon and evening storms. The temperatures highs will be above average and are expected to rise to the low-to-mid 90s Friday. The forecast shows scattered rain begins to develop around the area between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.We’ll be watching for some showers and thunderstorms that’ll pass through the area in the evening.
