Today will remain fairly seasonal. The morning will stay muggy and warm with temperatures in the 80s. Rain chances will hold off until the late afternoon.
Highs will reach the mid 90s with feels-like temperatures into the triple digits. Keep the umbrella handy if you’re heading out to run errands alter today as storms will develop inland, but work toward the coast.
Coverage will be scattered again this afternoon. It won’t be a washout but it is likely you get caught up in a downpour or two. Tonight, isolated storms will linger near the coast with temperatures falling back down into the upper 70s.
Regarding the tropics, we’re monitoring the eastern Atlantic for tropical waves coming off the coast of Africa. The chance for development is low for now. The next name on the list is Danielle.
