Cape Coral man arrested for spray-painting gazebo, tables & more at Four Freedoms Park

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A Cape Coral man was caught blue-handed after he was seen spray-painting a trashcan, gazebo, tables, and the ground at Four Freedoms Park Saturday, officials said.

25-year-old Thatcher Greenwood was found with wet blue spray paint all over his hands and forearms after someone reported a man with his description painting graffiti at the park on Tarpon Court, according to the Cape Coral Police Department.

Greenwood was found by police near one of the freshly vandalized gazebos. The 25-year-old admitted to the graffiti and was taken to the Lee County Jail.

He is facing a charge of criminal mischief.
