1 dead, 3 injured in three-vehicle crash in Davenport

DAVENPORT, Fla. (WFLA) — A person died and 3 folks have been injured Friday afternoon after a three-vehicle crash in Davenport.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office mentioned deputies have been referred to as to Davenport Boulevard round 3:10 p.m. regarding the fatal collision.

The sheriff’s administrative center mentioned 20-year-old Jose R. Perez Marcano of Kissimmee was once headed east at the side road along with his passenger, 18-year-old Naomi Perez, once they collided with a Sonata that made a left flip onto the side road.

The 20-year-old’s Civic then spun into the trail of a Honda CR5 that simply left a residential space, colliding with it. According to the sheriff’s administrative center, the CR5 hit the Civic’s driving force facet door and led to “significant intrusion all the way into the passenger compartment.”

Deputies mentioned Jose Perez Marcano died on the scene of the incident whilst Naomi Perez suffered severe accidents and was once taken to a clinic.

The drivers of the CR5 and Sonata each suffered minor accidents, the sheriff’s administrative center mentioned.
